Casa Oropendola is a privately owned cottage located in the heart of Laguan Hule. We take care that you spend unforgettable days in a paradisiacal place, surrounded by nature, without pollution of any kind, appreciating every minute of your stay without worrying about anything, breathing clean air at dawn and having a coffee listening to the song of the birds and observe beautiful mountains that are covered with the golden light of the sun. Discover all the flora and fauna that awakens when night falls, a large number of frogs, insects and other species for those who love nature, depending on the time you can also enjoy a moonlit night that will undoubtedly be a great experience.
Activities
Take advantage of our privileged location in the Costa Rican countryside, a small community away from the noise of the city, and join us for an incredible bird watching experience. You will be able to take a quiet walk along beautiful trails that are accessible to all. Along the way, you will be able to appreciate the flora and fauna present in the surroundings.
In the Bosque Alegre Wildlife Refuge, you can take walks on private trails or on the public road and appreciate everything in its natural environment, you can do activities such as kayaking through the Laguna Hule or Paddleboard, swim, and appreciate all its nature.
Country Calm
From Casa Oropendola, you can travel with your own vehicle or taxi to nearby places of great tourist attraction such as Bajo del Toro, an incredible place with waterfalls and pools of celestial waters and enjoy typical foods of the area or buy local products and thus cooperate with the community.
